I had a lovely night at The Heathcock, with a gorgeous spacious room and a lovely bathroom. However, the bed was a bit uncomfortable due to its dip in the middle, leading to some restless moments. Overall, I really enjoyed the stay and found the staff friendly and accommodating.

Such a gorgeous room with plenty of space. The bathroom was really lovely, and I appreciated the comfy bed, even if the dip in the middle was a downside.

The staff were super friendly right from my arrival. They were attentive and even reached out to confirm my dinner reservation which was a nice touch.

While breakfast wasn't at the hotel, the food at the nearby sister restaurant was fantastic, and I loved the delicious marmalade they offered.

The facilities were great, but I did miss that there was no onsite parking. Still, I found a spot just a couple of minutes away without much hassle.

I enjoyed my stay at The Heathcock Boutique Hotel, particularly the cleanliness and quality of my room. While the dining experience was superb, I did encounter some challenges with parking and room allocation, which impacted my overall satisfaction.

My Deluxe King Room was great, very clean, and had a super bathroom. I loved the luxurious bedding and the coffee machine provided. However, I also noticed that another room had no wardrobe, which could be an issue for longer stays.
Service

The staff were kind and apologetic when there was a mix-up with our room. I appreciated the complimentary bottle of prosecco, but it did take them a while to sort out the situation.

The location was ideal, situated in a beautiful area of Llandaff with lovely walks and a stunning cathedral nearby. However, parking was tricky due to the busy surroundings.

I had a superb meal on my first night, and breakfast at the nearby bakery was excellent too, with a lovely discount for hotel guests. The ambiance at the pub was lively and pleasant.

I enjoyed the nice beer garden and the well-stocked pub downstairs. However, I noticed the WiFi connection was spotty in my room, which was inconvenient.

I had a pleasant stay at The Heathcock Boutique Hotel overall. The room was beautifully appointed and the staff were genuinely friendly. However, the traffic noise was a bit much, especially at night, which did impact my sleep a little. The lack of breakfast facilities on-site was another downside, but the nearby deli offered some decent options.

Rooms

My room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfy, though the noise from the main road was pretty constant. The lack of a wardrobe and limited towels were also drawbacks.
Service

The staff were super friendly and even compensated us with prosecco for a mix-up with our room. They were helpful overall, making my stay smoother despite a few hiccups.

The hotel is in a nice area, close to amenities, although parking can be tricky due to it being a busy road. It's definitely a bustling spot!

I didn’t have breakfast at the deli, but I heard it had fresh croissants, and the restaurant looked appealing though quite busy.

The hotel features a lovely bar and an informal restaurant which seemed to have a great menu, but I didn't get a chance to eat there.

I had a mixed experience at The Heathcock Boutique Hotel. The large room and comfortable bed were wonderful, and the huge bathroom with both a shower and bath provided a touch of luxury. However, the noise from the busy main road, especially with morning repairs, made it tough to sleep, and the steep stairs were a challenge with my luggage.

Rooms

My room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, though the fridge was a bit noisy at night. I appreciated the fresh milk provided for my morning coffee. However, the noise from the road outside and the lack of a TV were drawbacks.
Service
7.0
The staff were welcoming and accommodating, even offering a bottle of prosecco as a nice gesture when there was an issue with our room. However, there were some communication lapses regarding access to the building and room cleaning.
Location

The hotel is located in a lovely area of Llandaff, perfect for walks and close to the city center. Unfortunately, being on a busy road meant constant noise, which detracted from the experience.
Dining

While the pub looked inviting, I didn't get a chance to eat there. However, I was pleased to receive a breakfast voucher, though I didn't use it during my stay.
Facilities

The room was newly decorated and luxurious, featuring a lovely rainforest shower. It would have been great to have additional amenities like a wardrobe rather than just hooks for hanging clothes.

My stay at The Heathcock Boutique Hotel was quite the mixed bag. On the bright side, Room 2 was super spacious and quiet, but I faced some challenges with the steep stairs and noise from Room 1. Plus, the lack of breakfast on-site was something to consider if you're looking for convenience.

Rooms
8.0
I stayed in Room 2, which was spacious and quiet, but Room 1 faced a lot of traffic noise. The facilities were nice, though some areas were hastily cleaned.
Service
6.0
While I didn't see any staff for a couple of days, when I did interact with them, they were helpful and friendly. However, the check-in experience left much to be desired and felt a bit off.
Location
7.0
The hotel is in a nice area, but be prepared for steep stairs to access the rooms, which could be tough for some.
Dining
7.0
There wasn't breakfast at the hotel itself, but the linked cafe was about an 8-10 minute walk away, which isn't ideal in bad weather. The food I did have was great, though, and made up for it.
Facilities
7.0
The room had good amenities, but getting to it involved a long staircase that could be a hassle, especially with luggage.
